Enzo

Enzo is such a happy baby most of the time. He's good natured and friendly.

He got really excited to be able to pull up on the dishwasher and feel like he was part of things.

After this, we had to be a lot faster to get him  out of the kitchen while doing dishes.

He sure loved to pull up on things.

He really likes the vacuum. I thought he'd be scared, but he tries to get it while I'm vacuuming.

Another sick day

Heber Weather

This was after 7p at night. Its quite amazing how bright it can be in the dark night when there is lots of snow and moisture in the air.

Its really hard to tell in this picture, but it was snowing good sized flakes. It felt so picturesque. I had a moment of that cozy warm home in the snow feel, that is captured on a cabin advertisement.

Cook with a Book: Sun Bread

I don't remember if this was for January or February. But both months here are pretty dreary and I found this book online and thought it would be perfect! And it was! The kids loved it! And a few even asked for the recipe. I made this one at home so the kids would have something to eat after we mixed up the dough and each student kneaded a piece of bread.

Zac

I haven't let the boys hold Enzo, I was afraid he'd get hurt. And they've never show an interest in holding him. Interesting because we have a few friends the same ages as Zac and Max and there have been a few times when they are at our house and I see them holding Enzo and it really stresses me out. Anyway, I started to teach Zac how to hold Enzo. Mostly so Zac could help move him away from something that's not ideal for him to be around.

I've been taking Zac to lunch once a week and its been great. I've really noticed more trust, respect and affection in our relationship. I like it too because all attention goes to him and I get to learn about his life, friends, interests and feelings. Sometimes he doesn't have much to say so he just draws. This is a cute drawing he did.

Bath Time

February

Enzo

With the back posting its really hard to keep the pics straight of the quick growing baby. So I'll just add them at the end of the month.

I believe these are in chronological order...

Enzo has way more hair than the other two boys and they had a good amount of hair. At this point I had probably cut his hair twice. When he would wake up in the morning there was always one part sticking up because it would fall back to the side he slept on.

I LOVE this little expression of sucking his top lip in. Zac did it too and looked very much like this.

This little one loves baths.

Getting around

This a mirror is he looking onto at himself-extremely closely.

He loved to bite the loofa. It would get stuck on one of his bottom teeth and he'd pull it off. It was very cute. (Also, he got teeth quick, at this point he had 2 teeth on top, 2 on bottom and probably 2 molars-crazy!)

Poor little guy. So sick. I gave him a bath to break his fever. He is a busy little guy. He definitely likes to cuddle and he'll cuddle just about anyone. But only for a couple mins. He was super cuddly because he was sick.

And it says a lot that he's cuddling with Jon because he is a momma's boy and most of the time doens't want Jon to hold him. (Today, its balanced out he likes us both pretty equally.)

Since the temps were so cold and he was sick all the time,  I started using this blanket a lot more even though he's gotten bigger. It really helped a ton. I'm so glad I had it. I could tell he felt much better when we were out and about.

Starting to get on his knees!

He's funny. He'll roll on to his tummy and just stay there. Even now, he'll do that.
