We took him back today and luckily the scratch was all healed!

A Pirate of Sorts
Yesterday, Max scratched his eyeball at church. We don't know how it happened. But both eyelids swelled up and he had a fever, so I took him to the dr. She used a black light to see his the scratch. We don't know what the fever was for. Max had to wear an eye patch for the rest of the night til the morning, and we had to give him eye drops a few times. As long as we said he was a pirate he did great keeping the patch on.
We took him back today and luckily the scratch was all healed!

This happened in nursery?! Poor little guy.
ReplyDeleteNo, not in nursery :) He had a fever on Sunday, but we hadn't been to church in 3 weeks, so we really wanted to go. So during nursery, Jon had him for the 2nd hr in the foyer and by the time the 3rd hr, his eyelid was huge! Max said he bumped it, but Jon said he never cried or anything to indicate he had gotten hurt. So weird!
ReplyDeleteWow, that is crazy. James got a fingernail in his eye recently, but no scratch that we could tell. The pirate part is cute.
