At this point I'd been working to keep Enzo's hands out of his mouth. I would keep giving him his binky. He started to spit it out in favor of his hands. He doesn't seem to have a favorite hand or even favorite digit. But he just loves to have them in his mouth. I pretty much gave up on being vigilant about it.
Today, a month later, he still LOVES his hands!!! He'll still take his binky often, but prefers to explore those fingers and maybe his tongue too. Some nights, no matter how tightly I wrap him he manages to get one arm out.
Its also funny to watch him. He'll be looking and focusing on you but slowly his hand will migrate to his mouth. I will also cover his hands and he'll slobber all over his hands and whatever is covering them.
Looks, like that was exhausting

Memorial Day 2012
May 28
This last fall our ward had a family history class that I started going to and really enjoyed. I started to think more about our family history and wonder where to start because much of the first 100 years or so have been completed on both sides of my family.
My mom is technically adopted, and we don't know much about her genetic line. I know a little about my great grandparents' generation on that side, but nothing more. As I was on newfamilysearch.org I found a death certificate for my great grandma who, I'd heard, committed suicide. The certificate confirmed that and how, where and when. It also included where she was buried-in American Fork. I've lived in Utah all this time, but have never been out there! We decided to go this year. It was great to "meet" her for the first time. And we brought some flowers to leave too.
We also found the grave stone for her parents and other relatives.
It was amazing to see so many grave stones for children under 1-5 years old, from the 1800s. Sad. But it felt so good to remember our ancestors and connect with them a little bit.

My Three Sons: At Two Months
Back when Max was two months I dressed him in an outfit and remembered a picture I took of Zac about the same age. So I took one identical to see how similar they looked. I kept the onesie, but gave the shorts away and replaced the bouncer seat. Its not as close to the same but you can see. They look like brothers, but definitely also look different individually.

I think its good to have a pic of a crying baby, just for good measure :)
I suppose I was feeling emotional.....but we had bought some flowers at the high school greenhouse and I REALLY loved to look at this purple flower. Then Max broke it off :( So I had to take a picture because I thought it was so pretty and perfect.
Max is helping Daddy wash potatoes outside. I love that Max is wearing Jon's Vans and he also has chocolate around his mouth.
Reading with the boys
I loved this little sleeping smile!
It was great to start getting consistent smiles :)

Enzo's Baby Blessing
May 6
We blessed Enzo when he was about a month and a half old. There was a bunch of people here. Jon's whole immediate family came which was sooo great! My Parents, Lexie and Adam came. And Jon's Uncle and Aunt and her daughter's family of 12 and half...
Rachel was really sick and Jacob went after love. So I missed them being with us. But having about 35 people here was pretty stressful for me, so it was ok. I had a tremendous amount of help, which was priceless. I really didn't have to worry about anything. I have to admit I did sneak outside to the warm sun and cool breeze and enjoyed relaxing while I ate and everyone else was entertaining inside.
After church we had everyone over for a late lunch/early dinner. I was hoping more people would be outside, but it still worked out just fine.
I didn't turn the flash on for my camera so some of the pictures are blurry. But I'm so glad I have them. Thank you Emily for taking the pics! :)
Ummm....
Took a dip in the irrigation ditch :)
Waiting for the prayer
Stuck in the baby swing!
These are Enzo's blessing pics. I completely forgot to take them on the day of so this is the next day.
