Max's First Day

This is Max's first day of school this year. Its his second year of preschool, but at a different school than last year. Its the same school Zac went to before Kindergarten.

This picture shows Max's personality. He wanted to stand like this for the picture.

He Looks Great in Pink!

Sept 2
For Lexie's wedding, coming up in a few weeks, I got Enzo a gray suit and it came with a pink shirt. I was really hesitant to have him wear it because it was pink. But he looks awesome!

Zac's 7th Birthday!

Aug 24
I saw this on pinterest and thought Zac would love it when he opened the door to go to the pantry. Jon said he did, (I was sleeping).

Zac decided he wanted to go camping for his birthday this year. We are trying to keep the big parties in control....

We went to the Uintas and found a great quiet and private spot.

Enzo was just hanging out in his seat while we set up camp.

Daddy setting up the tent

This is from the car to our spot.

And back to the car. I would love to go here again. I don't remember the name or site number though :(

Cooking hot dogs for everyone

Just relaxing in nature....(being January now, I've really really been wanting to go camping-in the warm summer weather!)

Presents!!

Max made a little book for Zac. Zac loved it! Max had been giving hints that he made Zac a surprise!

This just melts my heart :)

Learning how to play the recorder. Do they do that in school anymore? I learned in 5th grade, I think?

I made a peach infused bundt. It was supposed to be really yummy, but the peaches were lacking. I think due to the dryness of this year. It was really really windy so we had to light the candles with the cover of the car.

Jon and I were just wiped out. We retreated to the tent and relaxed while the boys played Operation!

My cute little Enzo!

The boys went on a night hike with their little lanterns, while I stayed to listen for Enzo and read my Kindle. Our site was right next to a dry river bed. They hiked back a little ways and found a dead deer that was just bones! And some dead trees!

That morning we tried to keep the boys quiet since Enzo was still sleeping and we were trying to sleep too. But when Zac said, "there's a moose out there!" Jon and both sat up! There wasn't one! There were 5 if I remember right. I was freaking out. I was so afraid they were going to trample our tent with us in it. But they were just watching us and eating leaves.  Then after about 5-10 mins they left.

Then Jon got up and started breakfast while I get Enzo ready and starting to put all the bedding away.

It was a great little trip! Happy Birthday, Zac!

Zac's First Day of First Grade

He's growing up so fast!!! And I think this was actually the second or third day of school. This year has been a tough one for me to keep track of stuff.

Enzo: 5 Months

Aug 15

Photo overload, I know. But I just like this guy! I had no idea having a baby could be so enjoyable! He is just so agreeable :)

This is Enzo, excited! Haha

Just barely starting to grab his feet. Hopefully it'll help him start to roll over.

He likes to have anything he can in his mouth! Luckily, it looks like I've been able to stay on top of taking his thumb out of his mouth. He doesn't suck his thumb! Yay!

Dirty Thirty?

Why do they call it that??

Aug 11, was my thirtieth birthday. The night before Jon and I had a date night and went to Matty's Bistro at the Zermatt in Midway. I hadn't felt like I was getting older and felt pretty much the same til, while eating my Black and Tan dessert...Jon says, "this is the last dessert you will have in your 20's." Geez, thanks Honey. That is when I started to feel older. Sigh....

For our family activity, we went to the Park City Resort. It was pretty busy when we got there, but by the time we left it was crazy. I can't see why people would wait so long to ride the Alpine Slides. I mean they are fun and all...but not for that long of a wait time.

It's been quite a while since we'd been up to the resort. They had a lot more fun for littler kids. There was this spiderweb things that the boys tried.  Max did pretty well since he was smaller and could fit through the holes. Zac had a little harder time maneuvering himself through each level. He had to use more muscles to get by.

Then we waited an hour for the Roller Coaster! It was a long hour with weird people around us. Luckily, Enzo was pretty good.

Daddy and Max rode together while I waited with Enzo and Zac.

Then Zac and I went, while Dad stayed with Max and Enzo. I'm not sure why there isn't a pic of Zac and I.....

Sweet little Max, I wish I could enjoy him like this everyday.

I love this pic. I just want to snuggle him.

Then we went back and opened presents.

Jon got me a Kindle! I was shocked! I couldn't believe it!

Jon also got me a body bugg. These are the coolest gifts I've ever gotten!  It sure made up for his comment that made me feel older. :)

Then we had cake! Jon made the most fantastic, chocoaltey, moist, dense, rich cake! Mmmmm, it will become my birthday cake. Jon has carrot cake and I'll have this!

Tag Blanket

On August 7, Jon went to New York for a Press Event. He was gone for 3 days. And I decided to keep myself busy at night, I'd watch a movie one night, catch up on my shows another, and craft another. The day Jon came back, I decided to make these little tag blankets. It was a last min idea after a friend was admiring the one I made for Enzo. Unfortunately, there are no fabric stores closer than 40 mins away. But then I remembered, I heard there is a boutique in Midway that sells fabric.  I ran up there with the boys right before they closed and got this cute fabric. It wasn't my first choice but it worked out well. I especially loved all the different trims they had that matched the fabric by the same designer. My brain wasn't all there, so I didn't have enough to make blankets. I ended up getting more ribbon at walmart to finish the second one.
