Donating

For a few years now, Jon and I have talked about having the boys go through their toys before Christmas and donating them to less fortunate kids.  This year, a neighbor told me that her son, who is serving a mission in Guatemala, was collecting toys to give to children who wouldn't get toys. It was so great to find something to donate good used toys too. Most of the time, only brand new donations are accepted. 

Here is the boys with the stuff they are giving up. It wasn't an easy thing. Zac is pretty attached to most of his stuff. Even after looking at pictures online of Guatemalan kids he wasn't so convinced.

Here are a few pictures of kids getting the toys Zac and Max donated! It was so cool to see how far they went and see the actual little kids who get the gift!
